Opening the Door to Mental Health Careers

KP LAUNCH in partnership with the Mental Health Training Programs (NCAL), piloted a mentoring program with current Mental Health Training Program trainees. The trainees served as mentors to Dozier Libbey High School Junior and Senior students (mentees).  The goal for the interns was to gain knowledge about opportunities within the mental health field at Kaiser Permanente, as well as the community.

This year we brought on five high school students from Dozier Libbey to participate in KP LAUNCH’s Summer Youth program.
