Welcome, Hidden Genius!

  • News

This year the KP LAUNCH program welcomes a new partner, the Hidden Genius Project.  Hidden Genius was founded in 2012 to connect young black men with skills, mentors and experiences needed to become high-performing entrepreneurs and technologists.  In 2018, six Hidden Genius students will receive internships that will be hosted by Kaiser Permanente Information Technology.  Through this eight-week summer internship program, interns will be paid an hourly wage while gaining healthcare career exposure and meaningful work experience.  Interns will work full-time, gaining hands-on work experience while participating in weekly professional development activities to help prepare them for their professional careers.  The experience includes visits to Kaiser Permanente resources, including the Garfield Center for Innovation, School of Allied Health Sciences and Regional Laboratories.
